I know, I am supposed to be on a self-imposed blogging hiatus but this was too exciting to pass up: Courtney Spencer featured our business on her fabulous blog, The Little White Book, check out the post here. If you haven't found yourself addicted to this blog yet, pay a visit. While many posts will appeal to any stylish, southern bride, Courtney shines in her ability to devise uniquely Richmond DIY wedding venue ideas. This is just the kind of brain child our close knit city needs, I can't tell you how many conversations I've had with brides-to-be who are looking for a venue that their sister, friends or cousins haven't already used. So if you can't find the place, why not create it? My current favorite of Courtney's suggestions is a 17th Street Market wedding, check out her swatch and plan here.
Stay tuned to the Little White Book as it grows in popularity, there's some talk on the horizon of a wedding design company that could emerge. I wouldn't be surprised: with Courtney's background in art history as well as her experience working at the prestigious Martin Agency, its practically inevitable and some very good news for the Richmond bride.
