An Early Happy Mother's Day: Baby Madeline @ 10 weeks
I was so excited when Rorie's mother emailed me about photographing Rorie and Stuart's new arrival, Miss Madeline Joanne, who joined the Hutter clan on February 22nd. Joan wanted to gift her daughter with a photo session as a Mother's Day gift, how nice is that?
If Rorie and Stuart look familiar its because I shot their wedding back in 2006. Its great to be able to remain a part of my client's lives as they make the often sleep deprived transition from newlyweds to newly parents. I had a great time catching up with R&S over a cup of coffee while getting to know their daughter through my lens.
Madeline has huge, blue eyes and great facial expressions, she likes to stick her tongue out at things as though she is trying to talk to them. She loves one particular CD of African music, she even has a favorite song, its awesome.
In addition to shooting in her bright and sunny nursery, we also took some bath time pics after which the family settled in for some play time on the bed with Nikki and PB, their two black border collie mixes. Maddie zonked out right there on the bed, it was just too much excitement for one day!

That's one of my favorite songs!!! And one of my most favorite babies!!! Maddie and I did a lot of talking the Saturday after your session and coincidentally when we talked about silly boys, she kept sticking that tongue out! I'm teaching her well! Thanks for doing such a wonderful job, yet again, documenting my best friends!
