Suzanne & Martin's Engagement Session

I don't think we have ever had a couple get the giggle fits during their engagement shoot quite like Suzanne and Martin! And nothing made it worse than saying, "OK, this one is serious so don't smile"... we would watch their faces contort from the effort before their faces erupted into laughter. It was contagious, my belly ached from laughing so hard. In short, it was a really fun shoot.



We took their photos at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, the site of their engagement this past winter. I took a ring shot at the scene of the crime, just feet away from where Martin proposed.


While the weather probably has something to do with the popularity of spring weddings I think there's some symbolism at work too: its all about new beginnings. I couldn't help but see Suzanne and Martin through all the buds and new growth:




As you can see from their photos, Suzanne and Martin are just so much fun and we look forward to more laughs at their wedding.
