Andrea and Eric's Wedding on Saturday, September 22, 2007

If I could choose only one word to describe Andrea and Eric's wedding I would go with "expressive". Whether the moment was emotional, joyful or humorous you could look at their faces and feel every bit of their experience and spirit. Usually I lean towards color capture (as does Eric) and yet so many of these moments belong in black and white (which will make Andrea happy). I love this sequence when Andrea is coming down the aisle with her father... Eric winked at her and Sam got it on film - priceless.

Their wedding brought us out to beautiful Glenview Mansion in Rockville, Maryland - an interesting historic venue that doubles as an art gallery. Andrea and Eric were married in the gardens as the sun was about to set with a reception following in the main house.

At some point the caterer, whose name I forgot to ask, told me that Andrea and Eric's wedding was his favorite this fall because nothing was overdone and the event was really a celebration of them. Anyone in this industry sees their fair share of dog and pony shows so I couldn't have agreed more, it was nice.

The pictures speak more eloquently than I can so check out this slideshow with some of our favorites. If you were a guest and would like to be notified when all their photos are available for viewing, click here. Congratulations Andrea and Eric, the pleasure was all ours.
